2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Receives Top Quality Award

The 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe ensures optimal customer satisfaction, according to the 2013 J.D. Power and Associates Initial Quality Survey. The Tahoe received the highest possible five-star overall quality score in the survey – garnering the coveted 2013 J.D. Power Initial Quality Award in the Large CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle) Segment.

The rating is derived from J.D Power and Associates’ Initial Quality Study SM (IQS), which looks at owner-reported problems in the first 90 days of new-vehicle ownership. The 2013 analysis is based on responses from more than 83,000 purchasers and lessees of new 2013 model year vehicles.

“The 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe’s high score on J.D. Power and Associates’ 2013 Initial Quality Survey is further testament to our strong dedication to providing a top quality customer experience,” said John Stadwick, President and Managing Director of General Motors Middle East Operations. “At GM, we have long believed that quality and customer satisfaction are the key drivers of success. We are pleased with these results and will continue to place consumer satisfaction at the forefront of our business ethos.”

The 2013 Tahoe – which boasts a 5.3-liter V-8 engine rated at 320 horsepower and 452 Nm of torque – was highly praised by consumers for its ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience with its powerful performance, spaciousness, innovative safety features and an excellent fuel economy. The Tahoe offers an impressive cargo space of up to 3,084 liters and a towing capability of up to 3,856 kg, which make it the perfect SUV for carrying passengers and belongings. It also delivers an outstanding fuel economy of 11.2L/100km on the highway.

In 2012, the Tahoe was the region’s best-selling Chevrolet vehicle with sales of over 21,000 units. It also was the third best-selling full-size SUV in the Middle East in 2012.
